Mortgage Brain has been selected by The Openwork Partnership (“Openwork”) as part of its new adviser technology suite. Openwork and 2plan’s mortgage advisers will use Sourcing Brain, Criteria Brain, Affordability Brain and Submissions Brain as part of what Openwork describes as a best-of-breed approach to giving its advisers the fastest and easiest experience on the market.
Openwork, one of the UK’s largest financial advice networks, has announced that it will be making Mortgage Brain’s latest versions of Sourcing Brain, Criteria Brain, Affordability Brain and Submissions Brain available to all of their advisers through an exciting new partnership with Plannr.
The integration supports Openwork’s commitment to saving advisers 60 minutes on every client case by ensuring they only enter client information “once or less” in most cases. Client details will flow between Plannr and Mortgage Brain’s modules, removing the need to re-key data or switch between systems as a case moves from research to lender decision.
As advisers migrate to the latest versions of Mortgage Brain's research and lender submission tools they can expect several significant enhancements to the user experience including:
- Faster search results
- Enhanced user interfaces
- Access to Decisions in Principle from Halifax, Nationwide, Santander, Coventry, Leeds Building Society, Accord and TSB
- Access to Full Mortgage Applications via Halifax and Nationwide
- Re-submitting to lenders without re-keying data
With over 98% of the market covered and products updated twice daily advisers will benefit from accessing the latest available products without delay.
As part of the announcement, Mortgage Brain will be working closely with Openwork to continue driving change across the suite of tools available to meet the ever-changing needs of the adviser and consumer, utilising AI to enhance the experience and results further.
Rob Askham, Chief Commercial Officer, The Openwork Partnership, said:
“We have set out to give our advisers the very best tech on the market, and we’re delighted that Mortgage Brain’s modules will be powering their mortgage research and submissions. As Mortgage Brain’s tech is embedded in Plannr, our advisers will be able to move from research, recommendation to lender decision without re-keying client data, allowing them to enter information once or less.”
Neil Wyatt, Chief Commercial Officer at Mortgage Brain, said:
“At Mortgage Brain, we’re committed to developing the very best mortgage technology, informed by adviser testing and feedback, and designed by industry experts with hands-on experience. It means that our tools tackle the very challenges that real brokers face day-to-day. And that’s why we’re the best at what we do. Being chosen by Openwork to be part of their new best-of-breed suite is a ringing endorsement of this.”
