Stonebridge has appointed Hannah Tee to help expand its Individual Adviser Recruitment service for network members.
This membership benefit was launched in 2024 and solely focuses on sourcing new advisers to help existing ARs expand.
The Stonebridge team is currently handling 130 vacancies across its ARs, none of whom will need to shell out thousands of pounds per role on third-party recruitment agency fees.
Tee is superbly qualified for the role, having acted as a CeMAP-certified mortgage and protection adviser herself in the past. Her career began over a decade ago in insurance before she became an adviser, most recently with Visionary Finance and then Nationwide.
As a result, she knows exactly what business principals are looking for and how the type of candidate will vary depending on each AR’s business model. Styles of engagement, and levels of responsibility and support, vary considerably between adviser firms, with very experienced advisers who are comfortable handling lead generation in the shortest supply.
Hannah Tee said: “The right advice at the right time can genuinely change outcomes for customers, and I’ve seen first-hand how the best advisers achieve that.
“Stonebridge stood out because of its reputation in the market, and I’m going to be able to bring together everything I’ve learned to help strengthen its adviser community.
“It felt like a natural step. Stonebridge has enormous reach, and recruiting advisers isn’t easy. The most experienced of them are hard to find, and there’s so much more to finding the right fit for a candidate and an AR than just qualifications.”
Rob Clifford, Chief Executive at Stonebridge, said: “The internal recruitment service is provided to our members with all costs met by the network, so not only do our AR firms avoid pricey recruitment agency fees, but they also get experienced individuals, employed by Stonebridge, recruiting advisers for them.
“Hannah has been there and done it, and she’s a fantastic addition to the team.”
