Stonebridge’s 20 fastest-growing appointed representative firms increased revenues by an average of 117% year-on-year, with one firm growing by 857%, new analysis has revealed.
The phenomenal performance was revealed after the mortgage and protection network analysed each AR’s revenues over the last two years.
The research revealed that its 20 fastest growing ARs had increased their revenues by 117% in the past year, demonstrating that the most ambitious firms aren’t letting headwinds like volatile swap rates, housing affordability and unpredictable levels of mortgage applications stand in their way.
The growth trajectory of the highest performing ARs is even more pronounced. The 10 fastest growing firms averaged 188.8% annually while the top five hit an average of 289%.
Stonebridge focused its research on firms with at least five active advisers. This means the analysis is representative of established firms that are further along their journey.
Stonebridge has a long track record of helping business principals grow their companies, underpinned by its own continued investment in technology, expertise and development support for its members. It does this by supporting them with its wholly-owned Revolution platform, dedicated business planning and individual adviser recruitment support, alongside its popular Skills Development Programme, which draws on behavioural science to further improve customer outcomes.
Rob Clifford, Chief Executive at Stonebridge, said: “It’s hard to put into words how incredible these performances are.
“These results are not the product of good luck. They reflect clear goal setting, disciplined execution and a willingness among our business principals to invest in the fundamentals of sustainable growth. That ambition is matched by our own continued investment in the technology, expertise, and hands-on support that helps turn our member firms' plans into reality.
“If you want to grow your firm and grab what Stonebridge has to offer, these are the sorts of proven results that are within reach. The mortgage market is still a very fertile place to grow a business. Seeing the efforts of our business principals bear fruit like this is still one of the most exciting parts of my job. It never gets old.”
