Spicerhaart Part Exchange & Group Clients, the assisted move and part exchange arm of the UK’s largest estate agency and property services group, has announced two senior promotions as part of a new recruitment drive to meet rising demand.

Lindsay Storey has been promoted to the role of business development director. The new role recognises Lindsay’s contributions across more than 20 years with Spicerhaart, including several years with the PX & Group Clients team. As director, Lindsay will lead the business development function, building and maintaining relationships with major housing developers while working closely with estate agency directors and internal teams across Spicerhaart to successfully manage instructions and deliver positive outcomes for all parties.

Lindsay has nearly three decades of industry experience, initially working for Haybrook prior to Spicerhaart’s acquisition of the estate agency brand. As part of Haybrook, she rose through the ranks up to new homes sales co-ordinator and later divisional sales manager, before making the move to Part Exchange & Group Clients.

Spicerhaart has also announced the promotion of Lucy Jennings to the role of operations manager. In her new role, Lucy will be tasked with managing and mentoring the frontline team and wider Part Exchange office, working closely with the business development and sales teams to ensure targets and service standards are met. In addition to driving performance, Lucy will be focused on developing strong relationships with clients, group colleagues and industry partners.

The move marks her fourth promotion in just seven years at Spicerhaart, joining as a sales consultant before becoming senior sales consultant and later sales manager. She would then go on to become assistant operations manager before her latest promotion.

The promotions come amid increasing demand from developers across the country to offer a fully managed part exchange and assisted move proposition. Through dedicated account managers and a national footprint of more than 200 branches, Spicerhaart is able to offer developers a single point of contact and a more streamlined and efficient PX/AM offering – helping them to sell new-build homes quicker and easier.

In line with rising demand, Spicerhaart is also looking to expand the team based in Sheffield, with opportunities available for admin support assistants, sales consultants and a new assistant operations manager.

Neil Knight, divisional director of Spicerhaart Part Exchange & Group Clients, said: “This is a really exciting time for the business as we continue to see significant demand from developers for a fully managed part exchange and assisted move proposition. Developers are realising that by offering such a service to clients, they can reduce friction and achieve a faster path to completion. As we continue to facilitate smoother transactions for developers and their customers, the time is right to expand our team.

“As part of that, it is only right that we recognise the tremendous contributions of those who have helped us achieve our success. Both Lindsay and Lucy play critical roles in our team, ensuring that we don’t just attract and retain key partnerships with developers, but that we back this up with expert insight, support and exceptional results. With their help and leadership, the business is growing from strength to strength and I look forward to working closely with them and the wider team to provide our developer partners with a comprehensive range of added-value services.”
