Pitch Black Technology Limited has joined the Bridging & Development Lenders Association (BDLA) as an Associate Member.

Pitch Black Technology develops software for finance firms, brokers and lenders. Its products include enquiry management, lender sourcing and communication tools, as well as white-labelled customer portals. Its sourcing system uses a product database covering more than 200 UK lenders.

The BDLA is the UK’s only trade association dedicated to representing the interests of bridging and development lenders and their customers. Its membership brings together lenders and associate firms from across the sector, including funders, legal firms, valuers, technology providers and other professional services businesses.

Adam Tyler, CEO of the BDLA, commented:

“Pitch Black Technology is a valuable addition to the BDLA’s Associate Membership. Its work covers several points where clear information can have a direct effect on speed and service, from the first enquiry and lender sourcing through to communication between brokers, lenders and borrowers. They are also helping us to build our own CRM system at the BDLA.

“Good technology should always be developed by people who understand the market and support the judgement and relationships that matter in specialist finance. We look forward to Pitch Black’s input as we consider how systems can help the market work more clearly and efficiently.”

Miranda Khadr, Founder at Pitch Black Technology, said:

“At Pitch Black Technology, we build software around the everyday needs of finance businesses and the people they serve. Joining the BDLA will give us closer contact with firms operating across bridging and development finance and a better understanding of the issues they want technology to address.

“Our aim is to reduce avoidable administration and make it easier for brokers, lenders and borrowers to exchange information, without losing the human contact that remains vital in specialist finance. We look forward to playing an active part in the Association.”
