Following a successful launch and a run of dinners across the country, Nivo brings its broker roundtable to The Ivy Asia, Manchester, on 10 July, during which it will help brokers to cut through the noise on AI.
Nivo, the AI agents for lenders and brokers, has announced the next instalment of its national broker roundtable dinner series, to be held at The Ivy Asia, Manchester, on Friday 10 July 2026.
The dinner is the latest in a growing programme of intimate, informal gatherings that Nivo has hosted for brokers since the series launched earlier this year. The events have travelled across the country, most recently bringing brokers together in Birmingham on 9 June, ahead of the NACFB Commercial Finance Expo, one of the sector's flagship dates.
Building on that momentum, the Manchester dinner returns the series to Nivo's home city. Designed as a candid, practical forum, each dinner brings together a small group of brokers over dinner to discuss one of the most talked-about, and least understood, topics in the industry: how to actually implement AI.
The aim is to demystify the technology and move the conversation beyond the hype, helping brokers understand where AI can deliver real value, where it can't, and how to get started safely. Nivo will share first-hand insights from live projects already underway, giving attendees a grounded view of what works in practice.
Matthew Elliott, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer at Nivo, said:
"For brokers, the AI question has changed, from whether it matters to where to start, and how to avoid wasting time on tools that don't solve the real problem. Most firms start with the technology (demos, feature comparisons, vendor calls) before they've defined what they actually need AI to do. That's the wrong way round. The better starting point is operational. Where are advisers and admins losing time and where do cases stall?
“We’ve found that, in broking, it's the same pattern every time: gather, check, chase. Gather the documents, check they're complete, chase what's missing, then repeat when something else isn't quite right. That cycle slows cases, frustrates clients, and pulls brokers away from advising.
“Modern agentic AI isn't another piece of task software, it's closer to bringing a new administrator into the business. You don't tell a new hire to 'press a button'. You give them the outcome, the standards, the client context, and when to escalate. AI is most useful when you think about it the same way. You;re ready for AI if you are able and willing to document the inputs, middle and outcome."
The series has resonated with brokers looking for honest, peer-led discussion in a relaxed setting, and demand has grown with each event. Places at the Manchester dinner are strictly limited and those who wish to register their interest can do so at this online form or by [email protected]
Nivo also confirmed that the roundtable format will be expanded to include webinar sessions, opening up the discussion to brokers who can't attend in person. Details will be announced in the coming weeks.
