Modern Lender has announced details of its next Modern Lender: North event, taking place alongside Mortgage Adviser Expo Manchester on 23rd September.
The invitation-only breakfast event will explore how proposed reforms to the homebuying and selling process could affect lenders, brokers and borrowers, alongside the significant investment being made in technology and artificial intelligence across the lending market.
Beginning with a keynote presentation, the event’s principal panel discussion - “The Future of Lending: Reform, Innovation and the Rise of AI” - will bring together senior industry figures to consider how technology could improve decision-making, streamline mortgage applications and create a faster, simpler and more transparent customer journey.
The discussion will also examine the practical implications of reform and innovation, including how lenders can modernise their processes while continuing to support brokers, protect consumers and deliver better outcomes.
The programme will begin with breakfast and networking at 7:45am, followed by the keynote at 8:00am and the panel discussion at 8:25am. The event will conclude with a further networking session ahead of the main Mortgage Adviser Expo programme.
The wider Expo is expected to welcome more than 600 mortgage brokers and approximately 200 representatives from lenders, giving participating businesses an opportunity to engage with a highly relevant professional audience.
