Inspired Lending, the specialist bridging lender, has added its full lending criteria to Knowledge Bank, giving brokers greater access to its proposition when assessing cases.
The criteria are now available as searchable answers through Knowledge Bank’s mortgage criteria research platform, which allows brokers to search and compare lender criteria across the market. Users can establish whether Inspired Lending could be suitable for a client before speaking directly to the team.
Inspired Lending provides unregulated bridging, refurbishment finance and revolving credit facilities across England, Wales and Scotland, with loans from £250,000 to £5 million for residential, semi-commercial and commercial property transactions.
The lender is backed by private funding from the Pears family and has established itself in the specialist finance market through a relationship-led approach to funding. Brokers have direct access to the lender’s decision-makers, with its published criteria supported by a team that can discuss the individual circumstances of each case.
The Knowledge Bank partnership gives Inspired Lending a further presence within the tools brokers use when deciding where to place a case, alongside its growing involvement with specialist finance trade bodies and broker groups.
Owen Bentley, Sales Director at Inspired Lending, said:
“When a broker has a live case, they need to know quickly which lenders are worth speaking to. Being on Knowledge Bank means they can get a clear view of our appetite alongside the other lenders they are considering, which should make that process quicker and more straightforward.
“The criteria are there to help brokers identify the cases we could support, but they are not a substitute for picking up the phone. There will always be transactions where one detail changes how we view the deal, so we still want brokers to speak to us and give us the chance to understand what they are trying to achieve.
“We want Inspired Lending to be considered whenever a broker has a bridging or refurbishment case that fits our appetite. Knowledge Bank puts our proposition in front of brokers at the point they are making that decision, and they know there is a team at the other end of the phone ready to discuss the case with them.”
Julie Bourne, Criteria and Partnerships Manager at Knowledge Bank, added:
“We are very pleased to welcome Inspired Lending to Knowledge Bank. Our aim is to give brokers accurate information that helps them narrow down their options and spend more of their time speaking to lenders that could support their client’s case.
“Inspired Lending brings an established bridging and refurbishment proposition to the platform, backed by a team that is willing to look at the detail of a transaction. We’re pleased to be working with Owen and the team and to make that proposition available to Knowledge Bank users.”
