e4 Strategic has launched VERSA Convey, a digital workflow solution developed in consultation with lenders and conveyancers to modernise the post-offer stage of the property transaction and support the next phase of the Government's homebuying reforms.

Built around the operational challenges that continue to affect the post-offer journey, VERSA Convey creates a single digital environment for managing lender and conveyancer interactions. By reducing duplication and streamlining communication, it helps firms resolve issues before they affect completion times.

Integrated with VERSA Assure, e4 Strategic's conveyancer panel management platform, the combined VERSA ecosystem enables lenders to oversee both panel governance and transaction delivery through a more joined-up operating model. This enables risk and operations teams to identify bottlenecks sooner, reduce avoidable delays and improve completion certainty.

Key features include:

  • Real-time case management and workflow visibility
  • Structured digital query management with full audit trails
  • Electronic Certificate of Title (eCOT) processing and validation
  • Centralised document management with version control and workflow approvals
  • Workflow-led management of unregistered charge registrations
  • Real-time operational insights and transaction-level analytics

As the industry moves towards a more digitally connected property market, VERSA Convey provides lenders and conveyancers with a stronger operational foundation for delivering faster, more predictable transactions and a better experience for everyone involved.

Simon Slater, CEO of e4 Strategic, commented:

"The mortgage industry has invested heavily in improving the journey to mortgage offer, but the period between offer and completion has not evolved at the same pace. It remains one of the few parts of the transaction where multiple organisations are still trying to progress cases through disconnected systems, manual administration and email chains.

"The Government's reforms rightly focus on making homebuying quicker, more transparent and more digitally enabled. However, achieving those ambitions is about far more than introducing new technology or new regulation. It requires the industry to rethink how information is shared, how decisions are managed and how different organisations work together throughout the transaction.

"If we're serious about delivering the next step change in homebuying, there will inevitably be occasions where organisations that have traditionally operated independently might need to collaborate more closely. That may not always be commercially straightforward, but creating an improved consumer experience will depend on building a more joined-up process across the industry.

"VERSA Convey has been developed with that objective in mind and so rather than adding yet another technology platform into the process, it creates a structured workflow that brings lenders and conveyancers together around the same transaction, giving both lenders and conveyancing firms greater operational insight while helping cases progress more efficiently through to completion."
