Chetwood Bank has announced the appointment of Simon Parish as business development manager (BDM) for the South East region.
Simon brings 20 years of experience to the position after previous roles as a BDM at Metro Bank, Paymentshield, SortRefer and LiveMore Mortgages. He has spent the past two years working as a self-employed mortgage broker.
Simon is the latest addition to Chetwood Bank’s dual-branded ModaMortgages and CHL Mortgages sales force. The combined setup gives BDMs the ability to help brokers place cases from across both lenders’ extensive product ranges, allowing them to provide more comprehensive support and find the most suitable solutions for intermediaries and their clients.
Parish said: “I’m champing at the bit and can’t wait to get out on the road and start showing brokers what Chetwood Bank has to offer through our two lending brands.
“My time spent working as a self-employed mortgage broker has given me valuable insights into the broker world and allowed me to see things from both sides of the fence so I’m really looking forward to bringing what I’ve learned to my new role.”
Darrell Walker, Chetwood Bank Group Sales Director for ModaMortgages and CHL Mortgages, said: “I’m delighted to welcome Simon to the team and am excited about the wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience he brings to the role.
“His time spent working as a BDM and also as a broker will stand him in good stead and go down very well with intermediaries in the South East of England who are looking for support with placing their cases.”
