Acre has partnered with the UK’s leading mortgage lender, Halifax, to enable brokers to run Decisions in Principle (DIPs) directly through the platform. This integration brings the percentage of residential cases in Acre that can be directly submitted via API to over 50%.

What’s New

The new partnership gives any Acre broker greater freedom and flexibility to secure the right Halifax product for clients and achieve DIP in record time. The seamless integration means that, with one click, brokers can source Halifax products and instantly submit verified application data – all within Acre.

Why It Matters

This integration will transform the broker experience by:

  • Enabling instant access to Halifax DIPs
  • Reducing manual data entry and system switching
  • Accelerating client outcomes
  • Enhancing product sourcing flexibility

Justus Brown, Acre founder and CEO, said: "Our mission to modernise the home-buying process means bringing all stakeholders - from the broker to the lender - on the digitalisation journey with us. This new integration with Halifax is a significant step for us in becoming the go-to technology that brokers need to achieve the right mortgage from leading lenders for any client first time, every time.”

Frances Cassidy, Head of Strategic & Technology Partnerships, Halifax added: “Reimagining the home buying process involves finding new ways to make it as smooth as possible for brokers to work with us. Acre’s innovative approach to simplifying the mortgage journey reflects our own commitment to rethinking and digitising how people buy homes. We are thrilled to be collaborating with Acre and look forward to developing a long-term partnership.”

The Halifax/Acre integration is currently being trialled by a select number of Acre users and will be widely available soon after.
