Access Financial Services (Access FS) recorded its strongest-ever month for mortgage business in July, with performance 46.8% higher than in July 2025.
July’s performance was also 39% above Access FS’ average monthly level so far this year, while the mortgage division is now 28% ahead of its performance in 2025.
The latest figures mark another strong month for Access FS as the business continues to expand its network of self-employed mortgage advisers and invest in the support and infrastructure available to them.
Access FS provides its advisers with a range of support designed to help them develop their businesses, including marketing and lead generation, technology, mentoring, training and access to specialist advisers across the wider market.
Karl Wilkinson, founder and chief executive of Access Financial Services, said: “July was our strongest month ever for the mortgage business and the latest figures show that the momentum we’ve been building is continuing.
“What’s particularly encouraging is this is far from an isolated result. We’re now up 28% this year compared with 2025 and July was almost 47% stronger than the same month last year. That tells us we’re building genuine momentum in the mortgage business.
“We’ve invested heavily in the infrastructure around our advisers and we’re seeing the benefits of that investment. Our job now is to keep improving the proposition, give advisers more opportunities to generate business and make sure we have the people and technology in place to support further growth.
“We have ambitious plans for Access and performances like this give us a strong platform to build from. We’re excited about what comes next.”
The July result comes as Access FS continues to recruit mortgage and protection advisers alongside its existing adviser network. The business currently works with 280 advisers and is continuing to attract experienced advisers who want to build their businesses within a self-employed model while having access to additional support and infrastructure.
Access FS also operates the Access Academy, which provides a route into the mortgage and protection industry for new advisers, alongside its wider training and mentoring programme.
